Where to end kitchen back splash?

We are in the process of remodeling our kitchen counter tops and back splash. The attached picture is what it currently looks like, but a few things will change -
- We will not have a 4 inch back splash
- We will not have a raised bar behind the sink - that will be flattened
Would you stop the back splash at the upper cabinets or continue through until the end of the wall?
