I bought the KitchenAid range May 2017. Why? It was the only free-standing induction range with two ovens that are true self-cleaning, not Aqualift or anything similar. (GE announced their dual oven induction slide-in last October) I don't find the hobs a detriment of versatility, the 9 + Power ckBoost setting are fine with me. I adjusted very quickly to the surface unit control on the top of the cook top. In fact I now really like it. Once I understood the logic involved with controlling the two ovens simultaneously, it became 2nd nature. In fact, last weekend I had cook time activated for both ovens (where each oven shut off at the end of cooking time) as well as the surface unit timer timing one oif the burners and the range timer counting down for a 4th item. I've come to love the slow cook function for roasts and such. I've used the steam function for puddings, but haven't made bread yet. I like the arrangement of the ovens vs. having a 2nd oven where a storage drawer used to be too.

Thanks boba1. I could care less about self cleaning functions as all they do is break the internal thermometer and cut the life of the product in half. KichenAid no longer even puts self cleaning functions on their most current ranges, I believe.

I looked at a GE Profile induction yesterday that I prefer over the KitchenAid, apart from having only one oven. I think having two ovens is a must so I'm going to investigate that KitchenAid more, but I also see GE has their Cafe Induction range with double ovens (just more $$).

Not sure how I feel about the knobs on the GE Cafe either.

I just purchased the double oven induction GE but I will not get it for another week. I was torn between the KitchenAid, Bosch, and the GE but decided to go with the GE in the end.

Please let me know what you think of it! I think it is the one I really want. I actually like the knobs and their infinite variability along with everything else. Wish the price was better but it is what it is. Congrats!

Now that you've had it for three years, what do you think about your GE double oven? Also, do you find it to be a problem crawling down on the floor to access things when you use the lower oven? I am assuming this may be the Café model. Thanks.

I love this stove and recommend it to everyone. It’s been 3 years and don’t regret it ever. No crawling needing - bend from the knees. Wonderful oven. A must buy.
