Accent colors with Certainteed Sable Brown

HELP! I need suggestions on fascia and soffit colors that would look good with Certainteed Sable Brown siding. I was thinking of IKO Cambridge's Dual Black for roofing. would Certainteed's Herringbone look ok or would snow or colonial white look better? My windows are Andersen seres 400 white vinyl on the exterior.

Also does anyone have experience using red cedar window trim with vinyl siding and if so how does it look?

Hello! We are using Sable Brown as our siding as well. Our accent BandB is Natural Clay and the trim is Sandstone Beige. We are pretty happy with it so far. It looks very different in different lighting. Hope this helps!

I completely understand why you would say! But, as I am learning when building a home there are many trade offs that need to be made. The front of the house is road side and the back is all lake view. I didn't want large windows in a master bath (which is road side) so opted for symmetry with all of the road side windows. Hoping to improve the aesthetic with landscaping.

the entire backside of the house is windows as that's where the view is. Appreciate your comment though!

Any thoughts on the initial question of accent colors? :)

@tdp310, thanks! We love that it looks like a rich brown or a dark grey depending on the light. We choose some neutral accents so that the landscaping and surrounding greenery would really allow it to pop. One of our neighbors actually texted me and said, "I love your new grey siding."

I think you'll love it. It's unique but not crazy and too outside of the box.

Kyle Brown- What color is your steel roofing? We also choose sable brown siding and white trim. Are a bit unsure yet what to do for our steel roof that is over our front porch.

@kyle brown replying to this really old thread-- what color is your stone siding above? It looks really nice with the Sable Brown and it doesn't look like any of the Certainteed Stonefacade colors.
