Granite isn't manufactured or have a brand attached to it. It looks like Princess White to me, but they come in different names as well.

That could be quartz -- which is manufactured and branded. Where did you see it? That info might narrow down brands, if it is quartz.

Karin_mt could you weigh in on this quartzite? Know anything about it? They call it Nuage. Going to run my tests at the stone yard on Monday. Btw, there are no samples. Besides the glass tile, what's the best food stuff to take.and here's another question. Is the stone wholesaler going to let me do things to this tone? He mentioned the lemon juice test but went to go get his jar of lemon juice, it was all gone. Hmmmm

Yeah, it can be tricky to work with the dealers. If you can't really do the glass test, try a sturdy nail, an awl, or the tip of a sturdy pocket knife. Press straight down on the stone and see if you can gouge it. In almost all cases, you'll be able to make a mark, but you have to rub your finger over it to see if the knife just drew a line on the stone, or truly scratched it.

Lemon juice and white vinegar have similar acidity, so either one will work.
