Guidelines on replacing a kitchen sink

I am attempting to change out the kitchen sink in my home, which was built in 2005. It has an inside mount, offset stainless sink. I am wishing to replace it with a porcelain sink but am not sure it can be done without the granite counter top being a big issue.

I would also like some guidelines on how to measure for a new sink.

I change sinks for a living. I hope I don't get busted for spamming, but this is my ad the last two months that's set my business on fire:

Believe it or not, it is much easier to change sinks in stone than in solid surface. I have changed lots of sinks in stone/estone and have yet to pull a top to do so. $1,500.00 - $2,850.00 depending.

As to measuring for a new sink, that is dictated by your sink base cabinet size. Measure and let us know, please.
