Bathroom Design Help

First floor guest bath with original cast iron tub and floor tile (House was built in 1928).. Recently took out the wall tile due to mold issues/outdated look.

Color scheme thoughts: dark/almost black grey and white with wainscoting & brass fixtures.

Tub Space ideas: going for cost effective but nice design because we’ll eventually have to replace the stack which may affect anything done now.
1. Keep cast iron tub and replace walls with waterproof material: shower panel, PVC beadboard/panel, ??
2. Switch to clawfoot tub with PVC paneling (tub being moved from garage apartment so wouldn’t need to purchase). Would put some sort of vinyl flooring that complimented original tile under clawfoot
3. Any other ideas?
