For less maintain get one fully made of acrylic, might look not as nice but saves cleaning grout lines. Second make sure shower door has a vent. Third make sure your bathroom has a central fan strong enough to handle the bathroom size and extra steam.

Just finished a 2nd one in another property for a client. They love em and use them all the time from what I'm told.

My DS installed one and loves it. They use is almost everyday. But I think they got bad advice from their contractor bc they put natural marble in the steam shower and a very busy mosaic on the floor andcealing. They have had a hard time maintaining the tile, grout, etc. It looks bad and they are having it professionally cleaned this week. While they love the shower and they use it heavily, they wish they had researched materials more and/or gotten better guidance from their contractor on choosing the right materials.

Do not waste a dime on acrylic prefabs. I tear em out regularly and replace with triple the cost real tiled steam showers (and for good reason)

My tile shower room is in and I'm waiting for the doors to arrive. The steam generator is waiting to be used.
