Your Meyer thinks it is dying; so, like any plant, it is trying to produce seeds. If you remove the flowers, it will only make more and further weaken the plant. Keep it warm and treat it well... careful not to over water, when it has no leaves. With luck it will recover. BTW an indoor sunny window is about equivalent to full shade outdoors.

Do you think extending light period (the citrus I have under grow lights get 12-16 hours) will help it make new leaves? I can't increase the temp, other than what the lights will add.

I will also mention, the persian bloomed a few weeks ago and has several tiny fruitlets. It seems happy in this spot. Will be my first harvest for both, if I get any fruit to stick.

Less light usually means less water required. Your leaf loss could be caused by over watering. Meyers in container are quite finicky... let them get too dry and then water them, they will drop their leaves; over water them and they will drop their leaves; significantly change light conditions, they will drop their leaves.
