Reuse the knob hole as one of the holes for the pull.

That is good advice for doors but not for drawers. Fill the hole or get a backplate.

I would not recommend a bar handle pull for drawers, because you will find your clothing catching on them all the time. Either replace the knobs with ones that match the finish of the pulls, route out a finger hold on the underside of the drawer face plate, or use an edge pull.

All bars are not that way rounded bars catch far less clothing than knobs.
