The fabrics we offer on Houzz are what we call "all-weather" - you can leave the furniture outside without worrying about mold, mildew, rotting, fading, etc.

However, we do not describe them as waterproof. They are water-resistant, in that they are treated with a spray to reduce water permeation, but they are ultimately water-permeable.

Both the fabrics and the cores (the polyfiber interiors of the cushions) are designed to allow water to penetrate and then to dry fairly quickly without damage.

So, if you took a cushion and threw it in the pool, say, it would get wet, but if you took it out it and let it dry, it would be fine.

If it's vital here to get something truly waterPROOF, we can special-order an appropriate fabric, though this would affect the price. If interested in that option, let me know.
