what about cracking?

I purchased this for my wife for Christmas and it has now started splitting up the front from the bottom. About 4 inches so far! What can I do?

I am sorry I just saw this message. Splitting is a natural thing for wood to do as it dries. The best solution is to find a pain table latex caulk to fill the cracks. They do sell colored caulk if you can match the paint with the caulk.

I also bought one of these stump bears in December & it has split up the front and up the back! It's not just a crack; it's a 1/8 inch crevasse...I am NOT HAPPY! How do you fill a crevasse? Is there any chance for a refund?!

I am sorry you are experiencing difficulty with your bear. You can purchase black latex caulk or white and buy a paintable caulk. Yes it will fill in the crack that size. Wood is unpredictable. Any exchanges or refunds can be done through Houzz.

    Thank you
