I have Marvin Ultimates casements in my home and they have been great windows so far around 18 months installed. I paid the most since they are top of the line in the Marvin's hierarchy. Theses are new install windows. I have a stucco home so I just went with the best windows and the best installers that I could find which were a small custom builders - two brothers that are in home construction family, there dad and his dad were builders. If you are going to be staying in your home; then I strongly recommend theses. If not; they go with something cheaper but I do new construction windows instead of remodels.

Why wouldn't you choose someone from abroad who is able to distribute your windows?

My mother is a cleaning lady and I help her very often to clean companies which are rather big (she's almost 60). Is is important to add that I'm Polish and I was really amazed when I saw a polish company, particulary windows and doors manufacturer, who was distributing windows to the USA to the newly emerging construction.
You can belive me or not, but I ws nearly crying. Polish companies are really appreciated even in US. After that I've made a little research and find out that Polish windows manufacturers are the greatest in Europe! I'm really proud as a Pole.

Decision is up to you, of course, but You can consider choosing Polish=Europen quality. For sure, You won't be the first who decide on that.

There are definitely some excellent products overseas, although I'm not sure how cost effective it would be to ship them over, and if they really offer that much more than is readily accessible here to justify the added expense. There are some excellent performing Canadian fiberglass products like Inline, and if you are looking for a top performing vinyl window with Polish roots, Okna could possibly be shipped out to the West coast as well.... The Marvin products are high quality, however top end thermal and structural ratings are not their forte necessarily.
