Babs, I think you will enjoy it. They have some very unusual plants there, many that I've not seen elsewhere. And there are vendors there too. It's divided into "rooms", and as you turn each corner and enter each "room", it's always a surprise. I've been to many, many gardens in the US and Europe, but I still enjoy this little gem.

defrost, it is an amazing place. I posted several photos both times that I went. If you search "Sakonnet" in "New England Gardening" you will find the posts. One was in 2015 and one in 2016.

Bill, do you have to buy tickets in advance or can you purchase them when you go?

You pay at the event, and it has always been cash only. They have never been set up to accept credit cards, but that may have changed this year. I'd just bring cash to play it safe. As I recall, some of the vendors had those portable credit card devices, but I can't say for sure. The website (https://sakonnetgarden.net) has a list of vendors and you could call them individually if you plan to buy plants. But for the twenty dollar entrance fee, I would definitely bring cash.

Update: I got an email and it seems that there will be two new vendors at the open days this year.
