Ground Level or Basement Garbage?

I'm in the process of designing my dream house. I'm building a 4 bedroom house with a indoor pool and greenhouse.

My question is since I want all bedroom doors leading to pool with kitchen/living room on floor above I wanted my driveway to lead to a basement garage.

Can anyone tell me the pro and cons of basement garages and any experience they might have?
