I don't have nickel but I've purchased the brass and black from them and the photos on their site are really true to what the product looks like. How the finish looks in your room's particular light, however... that's another story. I would suggest just ordering the pulls. If you need many, get the minimum for free shipping. Then order the rest. If it doesn't work out, it's easy to return.

IMO, I would go with polished nickel if you're between the two. It will blend better with finishes from other brands.
