Not at all but when asking questions it really helps to post pics.

I would be happy to post pictures. Will do so when I get back to house. It is really not a huge laundry room but i wanted to make a statement there. Pictures will follow later. Thanks so much for your input.

Just make it a foot ! Why go half way? Afoot really does look super!

Didn't need a foot. 7 inches allowed me to fulfill the minimum requirements for a promotion at the supplier. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Thank you, " enjoy the journey". That is a really pretty laundry room. Makes me feel more sure of my decision. Great to see pictures.

Great laundry room!

Thank you! We just renovated it and I absolutely love the look and all the functionality I gained. For what it’s worth, a folding area is fabulous, 18” deep cupboards over the washer and dryer are so much easier to reach, depending on how big your laundry your stone fabricator may have an off-cut which will save you a lot of money (mine did) and give some thought to what’s behind the laundry walls. The cabinet over my sink passes through to a tall, paired cabinet in my ensuite. I put my sheets and towels away in the laundry room and take them out in the ensuite. It’s fun and practical.

Wow sounds great. I don't have that much room to work with. Mine abuts the dining room. Got the 18 inch cupboards. Those work. Thanks so much for your input.
