This is such a small space grand might not happen but we can try. First remove the “flowers “ from the corner when you entertain get real ones and use them on the table as alow center piece.I can’t tell but if there is a leaf in the table remove it that table is too large for the space .As for art and paint I would need to see the rest of the living space to help there. IMO the bigger the piece of art the better on the wall where a piece is leaning.You do not have room for a rug so you will need to add color with the art

Gold is a good color for achieving glamor and light colors are always good for small spaces.

I agree with you that using the wall paper would be too much in this room.

Restraint is rather important, especially in smaller spaces.

A sunburst mirror is a great idea and would reflect the light of the chandelier marvelously. There are many types of sunburst mirrors, please do a google search to check them out, and please buy the right size for your space.

Sconces would be overkill.

A leopard carpet would be wasted in the dining room.

Where you need the leopard/animal print pattern is in your living room which although lovely is a bit predictable.

You might not be brave enough to have a leopard carpet in the living room, and I mean really leopard colored, not the faded gold version, but what about the chair near the door?

If not that, please think about substituting two of the larger throw cushions with a really leopard looking pattern, and also see if you can find one other "from-nature textural" thing that has some brown in it (a tortoise shell, a big sea shell or coral, etc.) These things give your room (and by extension, you) texture and excitement.

Also, please put something alive in your living room, e.g., a small plant, a small vase with some cut stems of something even if only leafy branches from the yard.

Artwork is a great idea for the wall.

A large piece makes much more of a statement than 6 small pieces.

You want it to go with the yellow/gold/cream color you have in the house, however, you need more color than that.

What other colors do want to have in the art? What do you like?

Green goes well with food.

They say red in a dining room makes people feel convivial.

I love architectural pictures. My dining room chairs have a tan that looks a bit muted gold a silvery white and a plum gray.
