I own condo where the hall is a bit narrow. It's good for 2-3 people but when I have friends over, it becomes awkward as people don't get space to mingle around.

As you can see in the crude blueprint of my hall, I would like to

a) re-arrange the furniture to create more space

b) add / remove few things to create more open looking space

can anyone provide any suggestion?

P.S. - I can post pics of my hall once I am done with the current reno.
