Tile issue for master bathroom

Hi I'm having an issue with the tiles i picked for my project. I'm thinking on using polished Tile on shower walls of Master bathroom (12X24) and same tile on Matte on the bathroom floor and Master bedroom floor (12X24) also. Now I.m having seconds thoughts as it seems to matchie matchie. Can some one give me some in site.... please... Thanks in advance.

What is your style? What is the tile like? I used a solid 12 x 24 in my master bath with an accent wall of marble mosaic on one section behind the tub. My room is tiled floor to ceiling everywhere, and I worried that it would be too much of the same tile (floor is the same tile too). I love the way it looks, but my space is contemporary. I think if its just in the shower and on the floor it will be fine no matter what your decor style is, and once you get everything else in the room(s) it will take some focus off the tile. Unless the tile is very bold (not neutral), then it may be too much in the bedroom and bath.

The only style I won't be going for is modern.

This is the tile for the shower walls is polished.
I'll be using this for an accent point.
    This for shower floor.
And this is the same for shower walls but matte for bathroom and bedroom floor. It won't be to much of the same you think??

I think that will look nice!

I think that the large tiles are fine for your floors and the accent tiles match that tile great. The shower floor tile, though, is too much of a different color - red or orange, I can't say from here - but its base color clashes with the base color of the other tiles. Put it next to the little accent tiles and you will see what I mean. Yes, I know they are not going to be next to each other, but there is a base color - warm or cool - for each item, and the shower floor is warm and maybe the rest of the tiles are cool? I don't have the words to describe it, but my nerve ends are jangling and saying they just don't go together.

Maybe the other tiles are a pink base and the floor tiles are yellow? They clash.

I think it's fine. The floor tile is soft and quiet so I think it will be a good neutral. I would use a wide band of the accent tile to draw the eye there.

Bill, lovely work. I especially like the second, with that gray vein. And the third, floor is gorgeous. Both are just simple and classy. Can you kindly share the brand and name of the tiles on those two projects? Thanks.

Thank you. Second one is ceramic that's been discontinued. I know this because I had some left over from that project, and went to use it on another project and ran short a few pieces. We did a nationwide search for it, and found ONE BOX in San Diego. It cost me almost 500.00 for that box of tile and the shipping. The third is real carrara.

I think it looks good and not too matchie matchie, specially because it is kind of a different texture. You could add a splash of color though just to make it more fun.

We used the same color tile on the shower walls and bathroom floor. However the floor tile is square 12x12 and shower walls are 12x18.

Bill and furby have, I think, the right idea. The same or similar tile can look stunning, but a change of size between the two brings it out.

I went with the same porcelain tile for floor and shower -- wanted a simple, clean contemporary feel...

How much "pink" under- tone is in the brown square tiles for the shower floor and is there any of that in your wall tile?

The tiles would look fine together if they have the same undertone in colors
