Might also be a yucca. If only we all used proper names instead of common names.

I realized it was after I seen it in person. A lady had it for sale and in her garage in that picture. I bought it and brought it home and dang is it huge in my house. lol I dig it though but its a monster! I'm gonna have to do some trimming soon.

You can easily just take stem cuttings and root them in slightly moist sandy soil if you want a more compact plant. You can make containers with multiple canes or individual plantings to give away to friends. I would wait for warmer weather though, as heat will help with rooting. You don't even have to use rooting hormone on them. Also, if you could summer it outdoors, it would really make a difference.
