Thank you, All. Each block is actually seven pieces in this pattern, although the way I quilted it makes them appear as nine patch.

To be honest, I supplemented my left-over blocks with others to brighten it up and balance the colors. It may become a charity quilt, but for now it’s in my blanket box!

Bkay, this is a small version of Bonnie Hunter’s original pattern. I will post that one when it comes back from the longarmer and is bound.

As I noted here several times, the big one got quite boring, as it’s the same small block over and over. If you like having several projects on the go at a time, that’s worth doing with this one.

Looks like they all started out as a 4-patch, so that part could be done as a leader/ender project in the beginning. :-)

It's definitely a seven patch: half have light squares in the middle; half have dark. The light in the middle are set sideways and the dark are set vertically. She has you assemble them in groups of four, then as a quilt top. It's an easy quilt to make, just boring.

I get bored easily and I think that's one reason big quilts don't usually get made by me....unless they're big blocks. If I find a pattern I like and can figure it out without buying a pattern, I just make a smaller version of it so it's more fun, not boring but I tried a new pattern. :-)
