This is a vertical grain douglas fir/larch floor from RBM Lumber, a local lumber mill and wood specialties supplier in Columbia Falls, MT. Its 3" wide, smooth faced that's been sanded and finished with a clear finish, no stain. With natural UV light it will amber up with time. The first coat is with a solvent or oil-based finish that helps to deepen or richen the wood tones, and then top coated with a Bona water-based finish. The cabinets are also VG doug fir with a clear finish.
