How wide is it? Is it functional or just a filler? How far from the window ledge?

    Hi and thanks for your interest! The cabinet right next to the window is 24" wide. It is definitely functional -- from the other side, there is one large pull out for recyclables and trash. To answer your last question, the countertop is right up to the edge of the window casing, so the cabinet itself is around 3/4" away from it. I hope this helps. Best of luck with your project!

    Thanks for the reply! I was actually asking about the smaller cabinet between the range and window ... it looks to be about six inches wide ... was just wondering if it was functional? Or a filler? Beautiful job!

    Oh, that one. That cabinet is only 5" wide, and yes it slides out. In NYC, especially, we use every inch possible for storage!
