First Class from AVSA has an extensive database and you can add your own entries, save lists, and make labels. I also use the database built into AppleWorks (no longer being developed) to keep track of my violets. Spreadsheets can be useful tools. Label columns as: name, description, growth habit, Reg #, hybridizer, date acquired, and notes. Each row can contain separate varieties or species. You can have the spreadsheet be the source for a "Mail merge" and print to Avery labels if you wish.
