repeat sconces in adjacent room?

Thinking of putting the same sconces I have my dining room of either side of my front door in my foyer. My husband is questioning whether it’s a faux pas to repeat them. Thoughts?

    Do the door and dining room face each other? I don't mind the repeated lights, but I don't think they'll be as visually impactful around the door as they are in the dining room. Mainly because I think the book backing of them will blend into the wall rather than pop like it does with the navy.
