I don't think is it root rot as there's no black or rotting that can be seen. Its just due to shock or over water I feel. The main caudex is starting to get softer. Please help me as im really worried bout my plant.

Aki - what soil mix are you using? It looks too dense, which could slow the water drainage. If you repotting in winter could be a problem.

Soil mix is 50 % soil and 50 % sand. The soil is well draining. Its summers out here in Mumbai, India now with temps 37 C max to 25 C low. I've kept the plants outside in air as the caudex is getting softer by the day. But there's no sign of black root rot. What should i do ?

Aki what i would do is take it off the training block put it directly onto the mix than water .i cannot see any fine feeder roots whem you start getting new feeder roots then start training them good luck:×)

I think the plant is dying. Why is the caudex getting softer? Is it rotting from inside?
