How much money is in your budget? Dino Rachiele can do some absolute magic in giving you a highly functional sink even in this little space. But it'll cost more than a standard off-the-shelf sink.

If you post your kitchen layout, there also is a chance that somebody has an idea how to give you a little more space.

It'll cost you similar amounts to buying any of your other kitchen appliances. But when you realize how many times you use your sink every day, it might be easier to rationalize that this is a useful item to spend money on.

Hi! Thanks for the suggestion. I looked him up and he is definitely out of our price range! I am adding some photos...the interior of our cabinet is 22.5 wide by 19 long but the contractor would shave it to 21 long. The sink I want is 21x17.5. We want the faucet in the back of the sink. The contractor says he might not be able to get the clips in. Is this true? I really don’t trust him. He is so lazy and never wants to do anything we ask (that’s a whole other story). Typically how much room do you need in the back of the sink for the faucet? Any guidance or sink recs

"The contractor says he might not be able to get the clips in. Is this true?"

It is false. Clips are obsolete.

You can cut that top rail out 3" with no problem.

Hi—what do you mean about the clips? I want to sound knowledable about it before I say something to the contractor. How does the sink get supported without clips? Thank you!

Joe usually recommends the Hercules universal sink harness: https://www.braxton-bragg.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/store7catalog.level/bc/9145/

Usually I'm good at spotting links. But this time I made the same mistake as Julie. I blame the sunny day that made the screen hard to read.

I actually copied the link from one of your other excellent posts.

And yes, your advice is generally spot on! Thank you, as always
