picking out a garage door replacement

I am replacing my garage door. I found one that I liked with windows but was told by the salesperson that it was just a basic garage door. I live in Phoenix Arizona. Do I need an insulated garage door? My current garage door is 32 years old. If that's insulated, I doubt if there is much insulation.
