also color of room green is unusual

I like the green it is IMO alot better than beige. Some pics of your stuff is needed and do you mean replacing your gray sofa with a white one or adding another sofa.

It is a beautiful space and placement of your furniture will be easy. You can place the swivel chairs together with a small round table between them, facing the windows, with their backs to the dining room. Another option would be to place the chairs facing each other, one near the window, other near the dining room.

Do you have any lamps or tables?

I don't have lamps or tables, I was thinking of putting a sofa table either behind the sofa wall and I need a new table for the TV, I have a grandfather clock that I love and I need to put that somewhere in the room, but I'm not sure where. Do you think that I should put up curtains for color or valances or leave it plain.

i would just put tables between the sofa and the chairs.

The white sofa and your two swivel chairs are a great start. It's hard to say where the grandfather clock would work best without seeing all of the wall space. The windows do not appear to have enough space for curtain stack. Inset Roman shades will likely be your best option for a farmhouse feel.

Should I keep the green walls or paint it

I'd wait to paint the walls until you have all of your furniture and art in place.

The furniture you want and have, especially the dining set, and want, and the condo itself do not say: "updated farmhouse." Your Ideabooks are all pretty much transitional style, which works for the space. So make your art, lamps, pillows, furnishings in that direction. Leave the green for now with the option to paint it white.

A good place to begin is with art. The art shown is too small. Consider two very large paintings in beautiful colors that incorporate cream, gray, black, and a smidge of the blue green--an abstract for the living room and more representational for dining. My ideabooks are older and the style I have now for my home, which is the reason that I have the dining room set that I do, but I am looking to change my style when I make settlement on this townhouse, I like the farmhouse feel but with a coastal/fresh feel

Diane,,instead of painting the kitchen, I'd do a nice piece of art, a new chandelier, a warm wood or white table,

and lose those drapes! I'd do a nice woven wood blind, or some roman blinds w/a bit of color/pattern.

Thanks Beth, great ideas, I am keeping the kitchen set for now because of my budget, I’m not a fan of glass tables, but I do plan on getting rid of the chandelier, not sure about the curtain, I’m not into drapes, but I like the splash of color, Art work will make a difference.

i removed the glass tables. i can give others. when you want to go back to the living room. it looks like the dining room set is metal. why not paint creamy white, and recover the cushions that will give you a real country/beachy look with little cost.
