I want an inside mulch container, decorative, that can sit on my counter, like a cannister

WE have been mulching for YEARS..but since moving back to Louisiana & remodeling, I didn't have the space to design a "hidden" mulch container for the kitchen...We put everything from coffee grinds to anything leftover after prepping for a meal....I want something different...any suggestions? I don't want something clear or transparent, but have a cover to seal it & it needs to be EZ to empty into the outside mulch bins....ANY SUGGESTIONS...stores???? greatly appreciated!!

I think you are referring to compost, not mulch....correct?

I normally have a receptcal under-counter but it can be fly-ridden.

The one above on amazon is out of stock but do a google on STAINLESS STEEL COMPOST PAIL and there are many of them at lots of stores.

How about an old cast iron pot with a lid - something with character, that could house the plastic container inside.

Janette...that is also great..I have one, just the right sizze from my husband's grandmother.....I was in the middle of typing the post then I saw yours.....I REALLY like this site & have NO IDEA how I even came across it!!

Careful with the back order - sometimes they never get in stock. I investigated this once and was told it might happen in six months, or maybe not at all. Meanwhile they have your money! I would cancel that order and get it elsewhere...

World Market on line has many compost containers. It is important to get the real thing with replaceable charcoal filters. I got my first one at Lowes, second one at World Market. I never throw out vegetable scraps or coffee grounds or egg shells. But meat is a no-no in compost.
