Pictures, please!

I googled the brick - it's very pretty! link I'd want to know if the builder went with the smaller brick / fewer cuts to save time and money (and is he passing savings down to you?) or if he did that because the look of the brick is different at the cuts. (It looks like there could be color on the surface of the bricks; what do the cut ends look like?)

chicagoans, He had good reasoning, and money was not one (it is not a cost savings or addition to the budget either way)... His thoughts: we have lots of corners on our house and we are people who like symmetry, so he truly believed the modular lends itself to looking better because with queen you have to make lots of cuts and they just don't line up as good. He showed us this on several houses and we agreed it does look more finished and symmetrical with modular. My husband and I were concerned that since we fell in love with the brick and mortar and joint of this one particular house and they used queen, that we should use queen. Builder reminded us that the house we like was built two years ago and that run of brick would not be the exact same, plus, we have lots of sun, they are in a very woodsy/shaded area, we have all brick, they have lots of siding, ets. So, his point is that it was never going to look exactly like that other house. His reasoning was good and we hired the firm for their expertise. So, we kept the modular and it is actually going up as I type this. But, I made sure he knew to never make a decision that is contrary to our wishes again without a call to make sure we are aware and ok with it!!! My post on this discussion board was to see what others thought about the difference the two sizes would make on a single story home in the overall look of the brick color.
