Your trim looks wimpy on your plan. Make sure the trim around the windows is beefy, so you get some contrast between the black windows and dark siding. I would have gone with white windows against such dark siding (like in your example photo), but I think it works as long as the trim is thick enough.

Agreed on the trim. It's a crummy rendering since I had to do the colors myself (our builder wasn't able to produce a color rendering). The trim will be white and more substantial, as well as the corner trim. Thank you for your help.

White corner trim will stop the eye and make the house look more boxy. Paint it to match the siding, unless you like the boxy look. To visually widen the house, leave the horizontal trim white.
