At first glance, I'd say remove the shutters and glass storm door, add a portico or small porch (or both) to the entrance, enlarge the front door if possible, widen the walk and add foundation plantings. Sconces on either side of the garage might be nice too.

Agree with remove the shutters and landscaping. If you park in the driveway like that then the walkway is useless it needs to be redirected to come out either at the street or further down the driveway

Landscaping will make a huge impact. Add some foundation plantings and gardens along the entire from of the house. Larger sconces at the entrance. Remove the circular clump of weeds in the front lawn. A small pergola over the garage door and/or a portico over the front door. Remove the shutters, power wash the siding and paint the front door a more inviting color. The covered car in the driveway is not helping at all.

Not what you want to hear, but here it goes. Like others mentioned, start by cleaning the front up. The covered car belongs in the garage. The trash cans belong out of sight Clean up the weeds out of what looks like should be flower beds. Get rid of the grass growing up in the driveway. Edge the growth growing along the drive. A general clean up will go a long ways.

I personally like the shutters. I think removing them would make the house look even more like a trailer. Other than that, I agree with other posters suggestions.

How about brick and adding a porch

I agree with everyone here, BUT I'm with Fia that instead of just removing the shutters, you can get new ones that are a larger, more appropriate size. Paint them a color that makes you happy to look at... for me that would be a deep blue like Indigo Batik SW or maybe even something brighter than that. I would paint the front door the same color or a complementary color. For example, if I went with Indigo Batik SW for the shutters, I might go with a deep green or red for the front door. Just a thought. Good luck!

A real front stoop, landing, or porch instead of a tiny one.

Absolutely shutters off. Create front gardens in the spaces between the façade and the walkway. Get a small garden center to help you do that. This is cheaper than a lot of add-ons and will give you far more pleasure. Yes to the cleanup mentioned before--no garbage cans in front! Once you've planted those full, well-designed garden beds, remove whatever that is in the lawn and just have lawn. Add a modern light post and modern sconces by the door.
