Hi and thank you for your question. I had not heard that there were issues with delivery or assembly, but I do know that many customers prefer the “White Glove” delivery service. Then the delivery company is responsible to bring in the table, assemble it where you choose, and remove the packing material from your house. HOUZZ offers this service to their customers.

This is a beautiful table and gives our DR the pizzazz I wanted. But there are some quality control issues. The table requires some assembly and there are no instructions. Fortunately my husband is very handy. Also, the base was poorly packed and arrived with two forklift holes through the bottom of the box, nicking the table base. The table top is crated but the bottom of the crate was broken and not well made. The two boxes were banded tightly together and when the band was cut to separate them, the table top fell over on the street because the bottom of the crate couldn't hold it upright. Fortunately no damage.
