My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Love the wood accents!

Hi - where did you source the wrought iron (or at least, they look like wrought iron) shelf brackets? Also the butcher block counter on the island? Great to see an Ottawa design shop on Houzz!

    The brackets were ordered from Rejuvenation hardware. I don't think they are currently selling that exact bracket any more
    though. Walnut veneer countertop came from Ikea but there are custom
    manufacturers (Bizier) which make a solid version which will have more
    longevity.

    Wow - those are the Ikea walnut veneer countertops? They look awesome! Can't beat the price, can you. Even if they don't last a lifetime, they're still a lot less than custom, and you can flip them, sand and use the "new" surface, too, if you use the right glue. Apparently.
