How lovely, sandysoil! I just trotted across the street to see if I could hear anything here from the wetland/pond down the hill. No peepers yet - I can't hear wood frogs from here.

No peepers here yet just north of Concord, NH, but early Saturday morning there was a thin coating of ice still on the little seasonal pond by the house, and by last evening it had melted and the wood frogs were quacking. It seems to be a bit too cold for them this evening since they are quiet again. IME we should start hearing the peepers in a week or so here.
