Kitchen Pendant Lights

Hi all!
We have a 7 foot island and will be hanging 9" round crystal orb pendant lights. Should we have 2 or 3? NOTE: the ones shown here are actually 2" larger than the ones we ordered (Pier 1 only makes 23" cords so we had to order elsewhere, ugh!). Thanks!
