If you can't grow them outside it sounds like there would be a chill period in the greenhouse....? By finding a warmer zone persimmon would be better. What are your GH temps? in winter/spring?

That's all i grow orientals, furthermore i only grow what my wife likes and some of my neighbors and friends. All others get topworked.

There are a few that grow in zone 8-10. There is a difference of growing tropicals and having a tropical climate.. When you say tropical does that mean 75-80f in winter? what is your weather inside like?

No, more like doesn’t go below 55-60. Tropical enough to keep bananas alive and well. You’re entirely right in saying that. It’s humid and hot in the summer and spring (into the 90’s) and drops a little for winter nights.
