Bay window curtain rod sourcing help

I’m looking for a curtain rod for my bay window that does not have brackets that obstruct the functioning or the curtains. I want a rod with a center bracket and brackets at the two ends. I guess the rod would need a gentle curve rather than a strict angle in the corners so the curtain can open and close easily. Everything I’ve seen has sharp angles and lots of brackets, which would block the curtain or require curtains in the corners (which I think would be too many curtain panels). Where can I find such a thing?

The picture shows the problem with most (all?) bay window curtain rods.

Thanks much! I ended up doing three separate rods which was an idea I wanted to get away from, but in the end it seemed like the only immediately workable solution. I did consider bendable PVC rods or curtain tracks which would have done the trick but you'd need to hide them, and I wasn't entirely sure how well they would hold up heavy velvet curtains. In any case the result is rather nice so I'm good. Thanks again.

There are rods with an arc -- it depends upon the angles of your bay window whether or not they'd work for you.

Hi, you can send an email to info@featurerods.com.au - they can help you with a custom made option. You need the sizes of each length of rod along with the angles. First option is to have three separate rods with corner joints. They can also have one rod and put bends on it but it's costly for shipping.

Another option is to buy one long custom rod, and have a professional installer to bend it on-site, but make sure they know what they are doing.

I don't sell rods, but if you cannot find any options, message me and I'll see how else I can help or perhaps I can source the product you need via my suppliers.

HI, I know i am late commenting on this one, but we are spreading the word about a new bay curtain pole that doesn't have brackets at the corner so you can have eyelet curtains which i think would be perfect for what you are looking for.

The pole can hold utp 30kg and is amazing. Your eyelet curtain poles can go around the corners without being obstructed by brackets, this means that you can have a pair of curtains working around the window and then drawing back out of the way.

This pole is only suitable for 3 sided bay window.

Andrew hello - this is my precise dilemma as well. Please share whether you came up with a solution. I'm desperate to have this done in our home in NY the next 4 days or so. Where can I urgently purchase a rod for a 3-sided bay window (which can ideally be installed by next Wednesday 15 July 2020)?

Sorry to burst your bubble but I don't think what you're looking for is available in the US. Even if it were, it would be highly unlikely you could have it delivered and find someone to install it in less than a week.

I had the same issue. I used three rods joined by a corner connector. You just have to look for a rod that is the same diameter.
