what are the countertop? granite or quartz and what is the color of hte granite or quartz? named?

    The counter top is Arizona Monte Cristo brushed finish.

    There is a lot of variation from slab to slab, but is a beautiful stone and the brushed finish dulls the pattern of the material down just a bit. This particular slab was selected because it had a single strong horizontal vein and a vertical one. However, there are a lot of slabs that have more and more varied veining.

    There is a lot of (sometimes conflicting) info out about quartz vs. granite when it comes to durability, as the durability for both materials varies from stone to stone. This particular granite is very durable, scratch and stain resistant.
