I presume that gandules are also referred to as pigeon peas? Those are tropical, and would only grow in a few areas of the U.S. - so I'm afraid I have no experience growing them. I do grow a lot of other legumes (pulses) though, and based upon that experience, it does not appear that the seeds have matured. Legume pods typically become softer near the stem end of the pod when they reach maturity. Although the seeds with the pods appear to have filled out, they may still need more time on the plant before they will be viable.
