Congrats! It's darling! Great idea to remove those trees. Grey & white would look fab IMO. I'm a big fan of living in a place for a while before making too many big changes.

Hi! Congrats! Super exciting news :). I say tear it all down, but leave that yellow-leaved tree, it would look neat if you trimmed it up. What I've noticed as a super quick & easy makeover for a house that's a lighter color like yours is painting the shutters/doors a bright blue color - it's very European. When it's done right it looks fantastic. Give it a try! Hope this was helpful, and good luck in your renovations

Didn't even notice that tree Alexa! Yes, I would keep that one too. Funny you mention the European look...I thought it looks like a Van Gogh painting, lol.

Lovely cottage house, looks inviting, I agree , take all those overgrown pyramid cedars out, from around the house,then , I would trim the edge beside the driveway to half its size and square it off add a white wooden gate ,I would also remove all the other overgrown bushes all the way around. none of their placement make sense. Start fresh, take the stones etc ...dirt beds and re sod.I would wait to do anything else until you have repainted the house .I would then retake pics and go to a good garden center and get advice from an expert on what would work best for your house. They will quite often give free consult , providing you buy their products. As far as the power lines, I would ignore them for now, If your house looks good, it will neutralize their effect. I would personally paint the house white, and all the fencing white also, silver grey shutters, and a colorful color for the doors (your favorite , red , turquoise , deep blue, yellow etc... ) I think your house will look fabulous, enjoy.

Definitely move those trees. Then paint that thing and you will have a nice place that will bring nostalgic memories to you when you are old and looking at pics of this house.

By the way, Alexa Cook and friend look hot. Just sayin.
