Beautiful space! Here are a couple screenshots that mimic more the barrel chair shape from your living room & another one that has a bit more stand out detail. I'm personally drawn to the one with Expresso legs because I think it goes with the style of your island & dining set more, but that's the beauty of decorating & creating your own style & space.

Those are all great looking counterstools. I agree, I like the one with the dark legs. Now to see what seat heights they come in. I need a 24” seat height due to the apron on the counter. Thank you so much for your help!

Beautiful home. I think mixing up the color wood being used would add some interest. No need to be too matchy. I love the barrel look but I would go with gray wood tone legs

I would consider getting barstools that tuck completely under the island countertop. This makes a cleaner appearance and also creates a much more usable space since the backs of the stools do not stick out when you are not using.

I love how the room and the furniture matches perfectly. I would suggest to go for a neutral color for the stools in order to keep the balance of the room. A simple white stool would be nice.
