This is an 1884 Victorian Farmhouse. The front porch height was added to over the years and is pitched the wrong way (towards the house). I want to remove at least the top level (keeping the two historic bluestone steps) but I don't know what material to use. I have considered T & G wood like Ipe since every picture I see of Victorian's have wood porches.
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
