Would not recommend induction for a home. Would want to know someone that had one on their boat to ask what they liked and disliked about it before investing in one.

Why not?

It is for our boat. I was trying to find 24" inductions with bridge capability. I would also like pros/cons of brands from those who have experienced them.

Look at Miele. They have a 24” with a flex zone. Not sure about marine install.

Miele has a division called Miele marine. I don’t see cooking appliances listed anymore but they used to be. Give a Miele marine showroom a call and they will tell you which of the models are marine certified. I suspect most of the appliances from Miele Marine are certified for marine use.

I love my induction cooktop. Have had one for 12 years at home. I’m also a sailor and think it would be ideal for a boat. We have a propane marine stove and induction would be much safer and more efficient. No more looking for places to get your tank filled and fumbling around open flame in rough seas.
