Gift of basal shoots - also known as suckers - from Viburnum Eskimo has been in ground for almost 4 years and finally looks like it is going to bloom. We also have a bonsai golden elderberry bush that is about to bloom - after 4 three years or so. Everything that I can find on the elderberry suggests that it can get really big, but this one is staying small. Anyone familiar with the smaller elderberry?
