Hi everyone, I have a dilemma as to what neutral paint color would be good with woodwork that is dark stained wood. I have a 95 year old home with the original woodwork on the first floor. The previous owners left the downstairs original, but painted all the upstairs woodwork white. Finding a paint color that looks good with the white is a no brainer. The color that is on the walls now looks dull and lifeless to me. I have in mind a cream color, but I'm looking for suggestions. I am painting because it needs it, but also to stage it for buyers, because I plan on selling not too far down the road. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
