The kitchen countertops are Lagos Azul limestone and the custom cabinets are made from kiln dried Douglas Fir framing lumber 3/8" thick. The kitchen shelving is built from the same kiln dried Doug Fir 3/8" material.

where are the lights over the island from. They are fantastic!

The homeowner designed the wood pelican light fixtures over our kitchen island and they were carved by Danny Smith of Wood Reflections, a local Santa Barbara craftsman. These fit the owners’ theme of celebrating the nature and wildlife of the Central Coast setting.
