I want to create a small rock garden in an area no larger than eight foot by four foot. I want to set down a larger number of interesting alpine rocks into clay soil. Then I want to cover the surface with about two to three inches of fast-draining gritty mix for cactus and succulents. And then I want to put some interesting alpine ground covers between the rocks, such as Sedum Rupestre "Angelina" (see photo below).

Where can I get some photos showing design ideas for such a garden, and is there a good design book for this with lots of photos?
