I did some research and it looks like Dallisgrass. It seems like a difficult weed to kill w/o killing my grass. Anyone know of a selective herbicide? It’s really spreading quick

Just like to bump this question.....anyone?

if you transfer some to a pot and let the inflorescence grow you'll be able to ID it easier but doubt you will find a selective weed killer for it. I would either dig it out or spot spray with a total herbicide and reseed.

Well I sent it out to be ID and it’s good news. It is annual ryegrass. I overseeded last fall and some annual rye was slipped in the blend.....ugh.

The good news it will die off in the heat of the summer. Be care where you buy seed. From now on it’s gonna be sod quality for me
